Anyone who has been in band understands the sacrifice and time commitment that comes with it. Typically, band members endure long hours and many strenuous practices to craft an incredible show. The band directors, however, have even more responsibilities. With 168 students, it takes a great deal of preparation for such a large and important trip. The planning began back in January with organizing travel and accommodations for over 200 students and helpers. This support was crucial to the band’s success. “We are blessed to have lots of people invested in the students’ success and their dedication helps the planning for these big trips possible,” stated Richardson. This support was crucial to the band’s success, laying the foundation for an incredible performance.
Clearly, the months of intensive planning and practice paid off, and Collierville could not be prouder of our beloved band. Congratulations, Pride of Collierville, on this amazing accomplishment.
