It’s official! The diamond dragons are back in action! Dragon fans are eager and prepared to be back at Patriot Bank Park to watch some spring ball!

On Saturday, February 24th, the Collierville Dragons baseball team launched the season with the traditional Meet the Dragons event. Meet the Dragons is a fun event where parents, diamond girls, baseball fans, and students all come out to celebrate the season starting. There’s food, player introductions, senior autographs, merch tents, etc. This year, there was even a twist: the varsity dragons also scrimmaged Covington, defeating them 22-11.

The diamond dragons have countless pre-season scrimmages lined up in the next week! Opening day for the dragons will be Tuesday, March 5th. The varsity dragons’ starting lineup has yet to be released. Although, we project it will be Winemiller, Greene, Wages, Allen, Chambers, Short, Whitworth, Jacobs, Bogenreif, and Stubbs.

All of the dragons’ coaches have been working day in and day out to ensure this group of boys can have the season they desire! Munier is the dragons head coach. Alongside him are coaches Culbertson, Greene, Harken, Hunter, Owens, Sheridan, and King. The dragons also have two hard working student mangers, Ethan Owens and Erick Fields!

Dragon fans come out, get rowdy, and watch our diamond dragons play some ball!
