Who I think is going to win the World Cup

The World Cup has a lot of contenders that can win the cup. Out of 32 teams contending, I think 3 of them have the biggest chance of winning. Brazil, Argentina, and Portugal have the best shot to win it all.

Brazil has an amazing team right now consisting of players like Neymar, Richarlison, and Silva. Neymar has always been considered one of the best, and Richarlison and Silva are right up. Richarlison scored the goal of the tournament so far, as a bicycle kick that impressed everyone. They have won every game but one and they just dominated South Korea, knocking them right out. It was a humiliating game for South Korea, as the score ended 4-1 and the Brazil players started dancing and joking around. Brazil has a very good shot at winning this tournament with the amount of confidence and power they have.

Argentina has also been a deadly force. Messi, who is the best player in the world, plays for Argentina. The goalkeeper, Emiliano Martinez, is an amazing goalkeeper that does an amazing job at blocking powerful shots. Laurato Martinez is also another great player. Argentina went on a 35-win streak before the world cup and lost one unlucky match against Saudi Arabia. After that, they have won and dominated every single team they have played this tournament. They have a lot of potential to win the cup, and Messi wants it bad, as it is his last World Cup.

Portugal is another team that I think could win. Cristiano Ronaldo has always been one of the best players, up until now. He was rated the worst performing player on the team in the last match against Switzerland, which Portugal won. But that doesn’t mean anything for the rest of the team. They have shown that they are VERY strong without Ronaldo and have the potential to win the cup even having him benched for the rest of the tournament. Bernardo Silva, Joao Cancelo, Diogo Jota, Bruno Fernandez, and Joao Felix have shown to be very important players on this team that can win the World Cup for the first time in history for the team.

This world cup has been very unpredictable though, as Morocco beat Spain, Saudi Arabia beat Argentina, and Germany lost to Japan. Who knows what is to come as the top 8 teams finish their matches.
