For generations, a variety of movies have made their appearance and have affected audiences in vast ways. This is all determined from different elements such as the cinematography, actors, music, and plot line. The following films have created a phenomenal impact on people all over the world, that carry some, if not more of these different features and I’m going to list why.

This Wizard of Oz, directed by Victor Fleming may be old, but has made actual history. To start, the movie was the first film ever recorded with Technicolor, which was brand new technology back then and was made significantly known with this movie. From memorable characters such as Dorothy, played by Judy Garland, well-known quotes like “There’s No Place Like Home”, and fantastical elements, this movie has shaped the standards of what you would call a “classic.”

Mean girls, released in 2004, is an American teen drama that is known for its numerous different qualities. The film is recognized for its perfect cast, Lindsay Lohan as Cady, Rachel McAdams who portrayed Regina George, Lacey Chabert as Gretchen Wieners, and Amanda Seyfried, who played Karen Smith. These women all were a perfect fit for their characters, which made the film memorable and a good watch.

This movie cannot go without mention, for it is highly recognized for the cinematography and performances that are hard not to love. Titanic, directed by James Cameron, is one of the greatest romance movies of all time from its casting, Leonardo DiCaprio who played Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet who portrayed Rose. The movie not only highlights the ill-fated voyage, but also captures the pure emotion and true depth of the sinking in the film. A key impact of the film was that it gave people a sense of emotional connection to the disaster, which in turn, makes this movie unforgettable.
