As the 2023-2024 College Football Season begins, here are a few things you need to know about who’s hot and who’s not. 

Starting off with Colorado, they are the team to watch with Hall of Fame Player; Deion Sanders as Coach and his son, Sheduer Sanders at quarterback.  They are a strong duo.  They also have a Heisman Trophy contender, Travis Hunter who plays defense and offense for Colorado.  

The next team to watch is the reigning National Champions, the Georgia Bulldogs.  They have started off strong with wins over TN-Martin and Ball State. While being in the SEC there is tough competition, but they usually always roll through the conference.  

USC is also another team on people’s minds, as they have the reigning Heisman Trophy Winner, Caleb Williams.  As they come of wins over San Jose State, Nevada, and Stanford, there is a lot to look forward to this season for the Trojans.  

Florida State is another team to watch for this season, as they come off wins over LSU and Southern Miss.  They have another Heisman Trophy contender in Jordan Travis, a 6’1 quarterback with a big arm.  

Next is Texas who beat #3 ranked Alabama in Tuscaloosa.  Their quarterback Quinn Ewers is coming off a 3 Touchdown game against Alabama.  Their next game is Wyoming as they look to keep improving.  

The final team to watch out for this college football season is the Tennessee Volunteers.  They are coming off wins over Virginia and Austin Peay.  With their quarterback throwing the ball 97 yards, other teams are in some trouble.  He has been putting up solid numbers over the past weeks and the team is looking to improve as the season gets going.  

Overall, all of these college football contenders are in it to win a National Championship in the end.
