College Advice

Everyone knows that figuring out what to include in a college essay is usually pretty tricky. Between making it long enough, but not allowing it to drag on too much. And choosing what to include. The goal of most people’s college essay’s is to catch the admission’s attention as quickly as possible. Just like writing a narrative article. Most people simply throw their most interesting life stories together and submit it. As well as adding a little “spice” of the struggle they went through. Which isn’t a half bad idea but that could make quite a boring and basic essay to read. Ways people can start off their essay’s scoring to Harvard Summer School, are to “start your essay with an opening sentence or paragraph that immediately seizes the imagination…” so start off with a bold sentence, or some type of thoughtful quote to make a descriptive scene. Once that is done, feel free to casually let your mind wander about what you personally think you should bring up in the writing.

Another simple tip would be to write about something important to you, try not to repeat the same sentence, start early and with many drafts, and have at least one person edit/look over you’re drafts. The last thing people would want to happen is to accidentally add a run on sentence or simple grammatical errors. Would not recommend using any type of AI generated app to help correct the essay.
