Traveling is a favorite hobby of many people. There are so many things to do, so many places to see. But there are common favorites that should be added to everyone’s bucket list.

First on the list is Bora Bora. Bora Bora is known to be one of the favorite places for vacations, honeymoons, and sometimes even weddings. Bora Bora is a group of islands in the French Polynesia. It is surrounded by a beautiful blue lagoon and has many bungalow suites for tourists. A night in one of the suites ranges from about $400-$2000 a night and a plane ticket can be over $1000. This makes a weeklong trip cost anywhere from $5000-$22,000 for two people. So, while it is on the pricier side, it is a wonderful place to consider if you’re into more oceanic scenes.

Another good option is Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is in Peru, in the Andes Mountains, and is an Incan fortress. It was built in the 15th century (1450 AD) and has since been named one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Now, it’s more than 7000.. feet above sea level. A plane ticket to Peru costs about $1000 as well as an entrance ticket to Machu Picchu being around $42. Different trails also cost different prices, with a tour guide being around $40 and the Inca Trail costing around $750. Overall Machu Picchu is a much more affordable trip as well as a very recommended one.

Italy is one of the most popular countries to travel to. The reasons being its culture, people, and most definitely the food. But specifically in Italy, many people like to travel to Venice. Venice is in northeastern Italy. It is most known for having no roads and transportation via canals. It is even called “City of Canals,” “The Floating City,” and “Serenissima.” Considering plane tickets to Venice are around $700 and a decent hotel is around $100 a night, a trip to Venice could be around $4000. For what is there to see and enjoy, Venice is not a bad option if you’re not wanting to spend a fortune on a good time.

Along with Bora Bora, Paris is also a very popular honeymooning sight. Paris is the capital of France and very known for its culture, art, and fashion. Paris also has many famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Panthéon, and the Sacré Coeur. Paris is also known for its food, its sweets, such as croissants and macarons. Paris is one of the cheaper travels, with a 5-night stay ranging in cost from about $1000-$3000.

Lastly, Athens is a great tourist attraction. Athens is the capital of Greece and considered by some as “the heart of ancient Greece.” Athens is known for its many famous structures like the Parthenon, Acropolis of Athens, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, and many more. Greece, in general, is also known for having a variety of delicious food. A trip to Athens is surprisingly not too expensive, with a 2-week stay costing around $3000.
