Do you drink energy drinks like Celsius? Well, one day they might catch up to you later in life. Many people’s favorite way to wake, could be their worst enemy. Studies have shown an increase in the number of teenagers and adults developing multiple heart conditions. Large amounts of caffeine may cause serious heart and blood vessel problems such as heart rhythm disturbances and increases in heart rate and blood pressure. Children’s cardiovascular and nervous systems are still developing, and caffeine can be very harmful. Even though we love the fruity flavors and the great amount of energy, young adults should cut back on energy drinks. Speaking from experience, I love energy drinks like Alani’s. But what’s the point? You are drinking them, and you feel energized for maybe a few hours and then it’s a sugar crash mostly all energy drinks cause the same effect. Furthermore, with all the future effects at risk, right now at risk is your sleep. Excessive energy drink consumption may disrupt teens’ sleep patterns and may be associated with increased risk-taking behavior. Because of the lack of sleep can cause issues with depression, anxiety, and digestive issues as well. To summarize the consumption of energy drinks at a young age can later affect your well-being and affect your present self. But a good energy boost isn’ttoo bad, but the risks are there. So be responsible with your consumption of energy!
