Bring Back the Florida Man!
The Ohio memes are taking over… but I have a plan.

We’ve all seen them. The memes. The horrible, utterly vile Ohio memes. They are flooding the algorithm and taking over every social media site known to mankind. It has become so overdone at this point that many have turned against the once-popular tsunami of the downright blasphemous Ohio memes. But this begs the question, what happened to the Florida Man? What happened to the frequency of articles like, “Florida Man wrestles dog from the jaws of an alligator” or the man that was caught licking someone’s doorbell (although apparently there were multiple?) What happened to the middle aged men with the strangest of appearances casually throwing alligators through drive-thru windows or just generally causing chaos and mayhem? I mean, these headlines are usually so crazy, you almost always have to laugh!
I mean, when compared with your average Ohio meme, the contrast is stark. I mean, they’re so mundane! Look at this! This isn’t funny! It never was!
What made all the Florida Man memes so great were that these things actually happened! Alligators were thrown! Doorknobs were licked! but… all these Ohio memes are so bad that they probably break more than a few Geneva Conventions… Plus all of this stuff never happened. It isn’t real. Most of it is just some sort of photoshop or CGI and or perhaps some kind of art piece.
So, with all the memes that have captions like “Only in Ohio bro 💀” or “Most normal ___ in Ohio 💀💀💀” plaguing the feeds of all who use this heaven-forsaken internet, we need a plan. And I have just the idea to combat these utterly disgraceful images: Bring back the Florida Man!
