An Ode to the Snack Cart

Oh, how I love you,

I spend all day

Waiting on you,

Wondering if you’ll come

To fill me with food

 

One day when I said goodbye, 

I didn’t know how long it would be.

Please, come back with something for me,

So that I will feel glee

 

You bring me sweet

And savory,

Soda and candy,

Crackers and chips

 

You make me so happy, 

I just might do a flip.

Every penny I make

I would let you take

Cause I like food

 

Where have you been?

Where did you go?

I miss your food, 

Now I am in a bad mood.
